2023 Collaborations Begin

In researching Matt's idea back in 2015 of recycling old surfboard foam, we have learnt just how huge the annual waste generated from cheap, broken bodyboards actually is.

Every year, thousands of cheap bodyboards end up in landfill.

Finding ways of making surfcraft from sustainable or recycled materials is timely.

As the surf industry begins to recognise it needs to clean up its act, the industry has started to explore new sustainable ways of creating boards and surf related goods.

Using bamboo matting and foam from a discarded, stripped bodyboard, Noa commissioned Arbo Surf to experiment with wrapping techniques.

See photos of the results.
